I just got started on my mobile infantry armor, so far so good. Have a ton of photo references for the weapons but don't know where to start, can someone help me? I'm still new at making props for costumes. Or, does someone make props for commissions, I am willing to pay despite my busy work and school schedule.

Here's how I did mine on a budget:

I have one of the stunt rifles from the movie, so I used tracings and measurements from that. But another easy way to do this is to find a clear photo online of the rifle, use a graphics program (Photoshop) to blow it up to the size you want, print it out on paper, and use that as a template.

They used a real Bullpup rifle stock.
It was a convert your mini 14 to a Bullpup made by Muzzlelite.
Then the prop guys added a longer front end and other details.

Personally I would have left them short, they are much better in tight places..the LONG GUN is dumb in my book.

I was asked by a guy named Eric whom said he bought these props at a auction 15 years ago and as his property he feels he owns all rights to them including the pictures that were part of the auction.
As I don't see any reason to fight with him and he seems to be getting a bit upset over this, so I am pulling these pictures and my offer to share them with anyone as per his request.

But considering he is the only person to even ask for these pictures, it is not worth any fuss.
