Ok these were suppose to be up saturday but i forgot i had to go to a wedding. phone reminded me. but that killed my weekend. we all know what goes on at weddings. and hung over as hell all day yesterday. If any of you ppl work in a kitchen and hung over.....it's not the best thing in the world. But here are the final prototype pics working on 3 more flaps. More leather strap ordered. 1" 1 1/8" 2" 2 1/2" 3". tho other sizes are for the 3rd strap. Thanks again abe for the patterns....now to tax of brass.....
oh crap! here are the 2 best shots i got blown up on my 65" TV.....
now the 3rd strap.......
and there we go......gotta finish abe's bag. and i'll have to ship the strap separate. Waiting on the shipment from England..........I'll also be posting several in progress pics just to let you guys/gals know how much work it is.......There's just a lot of steps to make this piece.....wish i had a staff sometimes........now to check pm's.....TTFN folks

Had to chime in before everyone started to freak. worked all last week with no distraction....I..E....no RPF...or surfing.....got a lot done......
Here's what i got done all last week....decided to put the nose to the grindstone.......strap got here yesterday and i stayed up most of the night cutting and staining......
and from what i ordered my guess was right 3 sets for the third strap. that's with all the new sizes. 2 1/2", 1 1/8", 1"
so that's five sets of bag leather cut and done 3 sets already partially sewn. bought 3 more yards of satin. all the trapezoids are cut, backed, riveted......ordered more fabric 3 sets. 4 buckles en route. i'll post a pic of abe's finished bag with one of the new 3rd straps either 2marra or friday. want to send these out as sets from now on.......saving on shipping.....I'll check messages in a few. Hope I haven't stressed anyone out.......TTFN

here's some pics with abe's bag for y'all. Weaseled another 2 out of some xxtra 3" strap for individual buyers. 80'skid i'll ship your strap 2marra. Abe's is gone. Next is a private commish, WesBertozzi(needed to jump spaces) WarriorPo8, Dstengler. More fabric arrived. Buckles should be here soon. I'll need to order more strap on monday. Got more hardware as well. Before we continue, I need to let everyone know something. I went back to full time. I just couldn't afford funding this and paying my bills with part time this/work. It was easier for me in the beginning, because I could just front the money and get re-paid. Plus ,before becoming a member, I've read all the recaster/scam/thief threads. I don't want to end up being "that" guy. The internet is not a good place to do that. We're all connected and word travels fast........
these were suppose to be up monday, but the GF had the tablet at work along with my memory card. Got them back last night.......
after testing with abe's bag last weekend I went with 3 magnet snaps. They hold fine. Plus the strap is killing my inventory for snaps. One set use to take care of 3 bags. now it covers only one......
Alrighty then......now the list. I haven't put up the third because a few ppl chimed in then backed out. I'll need to go through all my messages AGAIN. I'll put up a temp list this saturday. Now, when the list goes up you'll have exactly 5 days from post to confirm you still want one. If not I will add the next in line. It's crazy, I know. The interest is still there and people not only here have been asking about it. I'm going to keep it to the RPF though. I don't need the attention or the online status. I might do one for ebay to see a bidding war! Also had a few ppl ask for patterns to be sold. Or they wanted to "professionally" make it through China. The answer is still NO. They will not be sold! I would feel guilty. As this was a collaborative effort by this forum. We would all need to be compensated..........
