Stargate Props : Show us yours!

This is the Stargate section I won in a Propworx Ebay auction a few months ago. Alec was great and gave me a couple of months to save for the shipping. It was an expensive piece but is one of my Grail props so couldn't pass on it. I paid $811 for it and shipping was another $795 then I had to pay £177 - $286 import fees :cry
After filming the Stargate movie the gate was left outside to rot, but then they decided to make a TV series so the best parts of the gate were used to take a mold from. This is the top ring from the movie gate. Now I just have to save for lots of silicone :love :lol

New arrivals.
A future project is to create a full sized ANUBIS from Head to Toe.
With the exception of the clothes, I need sandals and the right arm bicep.

Fingers crossed for you Frank! Those are beautiful pieces, would be great to see them all reunited for a finished Anubis
 
I'm a noob on here and the prop community. Didn't know 6 months ago that this site or community even existed. Thought show and movie props got put in a crate and locked away only to never to be seen again. Looking at a link for Halo armor I stumbled on the RPF. Few months later and I finally got my first screen used props. Pretty sweet I got my grail item as my first. Stunt kino ball and remote. Also got me a cool screen used door opener as well. it's got working buttons and switching lock and unlock function. I think it's the unit outside of the bridge when Rush punches in the key sequence to unlock the main bridge door. This has that function as well. Looks like they had a custom PCB made for this with LED's and working buttons. PM me if you want pictures. Their setup is pretty slick. Wasn't planning on the door opener but got it for a good deal and curious as to their wiring process. Wasn't expecting the keypad to actually work. That was a really nice surprise.Super stoked. With Andy's Chevron and SGU wall sconces coming as i've gotten some cool stargate loot lately. Thanks to Andy, TK, Fusenova and Dave in Arizona for all the cool stuff. Kino remote is rubber but hope to have a working copy in the near future. (fingers crossed) I got fusenova's door opener and going to do the same switch and LED system that the prop guys on SGU used. Will use it to run Andy's chevron lights in my living room. Will be getting one for my bedroom and use fusenova's door opener for that one. Woot!

Just finished my necklace for the RA pendant.
It has magnetic clasp, so if RA rips it from your neck, it doesn't SPILL beads all over the palace floor!

Just seeing this now, damn that looks sweet with all the beads and I LOVE the magnetic clasp! Going to have to rob that idea for a few things :p
 
I dont have it in my posession yet,
As its with all the other large items Ive acquired from VIP and they all await shipment to me in Switzerland
... I have 2 of the Destiny stargate segments, the Power Core that Rush killed Telford with, 2 of the Large GAK panels (like the ones currently for sale by VIP) a corridor monitor panel, all the stasis pod doors, and a further endless list of items
... am gonna ship them all together so its more economical :))
 
Is anyone still here? I will share my stargate collection, but not if nobody will see it. I have a pretty large collection :)
