Stargate Props : Show us yours!

More goodies. Pangean Delegation folder: among the better 8.5x11 inch inserts are DHD blueprints, Jack's diagram to fix the DHD, and MALP blueprint. Screen-used P90 laser site, this one the button is broke. The laser will light if the button is held down but the 'click' isn't there so it's acting as a momentary contact instead of an on/off push-button. And so far I've picked up this season 9 autograph set (didn't have Browder's or Bridges auto's yet) from the Michael Shanks Online MS Society of Canada charity auction & a Dave Hewlet signed patch (patch hasn't arrived yet).

I just want to see these are easily the props that I would want most from the series. Love the work that was put into things like this for shows.

I'll post in the junk yard when they're ready. I'll do my best to get clean copies but there's actually a bunch of bubbles/air trap places on the back side of the original.... they weren't pressure cast. So they'll be warts. Heading out the door and will post pics of the back later tonight.

what would be a time frame for the kino remote i own a fan built one thats almost dead accurate but a screen cast one would be even more awsome

Hello, all!

Just a quick note to introduce myself as a new Stargate collector. I currently own two production-made/screen-used Jaffa costumes from Propworx and have a third on the way. As soon as I have the mannequins arranged and dressed I'll be sure to post photos of this new collecting obsession, but in the meantime a sincere thank you to those who have shared their wonderful collections. I'm always on the lookout for great Stargate items, so be sure to keep me in mind if anyone is willing to part with an item, especially screen-used.

Best,

Terry

Cant wait to see pics! Have 2 jaffa here myself, only one mannequin though. Theres something about having an army of them thats appealing!

I searched high and low around the Seattle area to find the mannequins that I wanted and finally scored them. I also didn't tell friends that I had secured my first two costumes, so since they're also big Stargate fans I decided to dress the mannequins and invite the friends over. If we weren't a little liquored up I'd have filmed it -- they lost their minds. It was all that I could do to not have them turn the time in to a fancy dress party and parade around the neighborhood while menacing the children in costume.

I still won't tell them where I got them though and they're not very computer savvy... sometimes seeing the man behind the curtain can take away some of the mystery and fun. =P

What was special about that style of mannequin? What model is it? I have a Jaffa costume as well, but I haven't gone looking for a way to display it yet.

Hi Anders, what is that? Looks cool, but I don't recognize it.

It's a Telchak device or "Fountain of Youth" seen in the double episode "Evolution" in season 7 or in the Zombie attack in the 200Th episode with ben browder !

Sorry, I missed your post somehow and am just seeing it now.

I don't have a model number, since I purchased them from a little known mannequin store here locally in Seattle. What I was looking for, and that took a bit of effort, was to find one (well, two in my case) that was of a stalky male form. I could have gone with the standard 6' tall and 30" waist mannequin, but Jaffa in the show are more physically built up than that, so I wanted to find the right mannequins for these costumes.

Once I get the mannequins back from the paint shop where I'm having them done over to remove the goofy paint job that they had, and then dress them in the costumes, I'll be sure to post a photo or two if you're interested.

Best,

Terry

Congratulations on winning that piece! I had given thought to buying the larger version that was being offered, but decided against it in favor of something else that I had been wanting... still kicking myself a bit on that one.

It's wonderful that this piece has found a great home and be sure to take good care of her! If you ever consider letting someone mold off of it strictly for personal use (for a fee and depending on where you're located in the world, of course) then please keep me in mind! =)

Best,

Terry

PS - That chevron is amazing work!

Hi Terry, I would have liked to get the back panel as well but I just couldn't stretch to it, the shipping to the UK is going to be around $800:cry I will be molding this when I get it, I am slowly getting my own gate:lol Just need a cast of the bottom part if anyone is doing one.

Holy moly, mate! $800 to cross the pond? =( I feel your pain, but like I said it's great news that it's going to a good home where it'll be well taken care of. When you're ready to do a cast just let me know and I'll help to offset a bit of those purchase and shipping expenses of yours for one. =)

Best,

Terry
