Sounds like fun! You know you are crossing over the costumes? Dont get me wrong, its ALL good. Just that the claw or wrist device was only wielded by Anubis. The costume parts you have look to be for a Horus Guard. Anubis wore a different one, purple and green/turquoise..

Whoever wins the destiny (sgu) table lamps up on ebay right now. I hope it's someone on here that is crafty with replica's. that is in my top 5 most wanted props. Never saw them up on ebay when they were closing out all the sgu stuff. There is one up on ebay now and it's already at a grand. my tax return won't be back until mid february. Hopefully someone on here gets it and makes copies. it is an amazing prop and handy in the home as well. Please someone tell me you're going to win it.

price is mental? I've seen stuff less rare go for much more. This is one of the cooler props from sgu. The kino ball stands i've not seen any auctioned or even had pics posted. I'd absolutely love one of those to have my stunt kino ball sit on. Still checking regularly for a hero kino remote. That and a gate segment from SGU are my grails. But a lamp would be cool to see someone win and make copies. Now that would be awesome. Because then i'd more than likely be able to afford one. LOL.

The only gate that will ever be on the market, is the stupid priced one of Humev
There are no hero kino's that will come to the market in all probability
-- but Yea, the Destiny lamp is a VERY cool item
-- There are 5 more to come, but they'll be via the auction for sure
-- And pledging xyz means they guy probably cant go back now and say oh I wanna sell x y and z private etc, as then you make that bad name for yourself which I'm sure they don't wanna have
 
Have just heard back from one of the Stargate Studio Props guys :)
-- These light's were made by the "Set Decoration" dep't which is different to the "Prop's dep't",
-- So unfortunately he could not give me any details on the exact numbers built, or what went into them etc
 
I must say, the lamp is very cool, but $940? I mean that's just crazy! We'll see what it goes for, 6 hours left!

Nice job on the ori collar :)
I thought that was cool, and if it were the one sold by propworx I would've bought it at that price. But it looks different from the one used, no jewel and different colors. And no COA. I'm not saying it not authentic, but maybe it's not screen used, maybe a backup.

And wow, 2K for the lantern? I thought you your self said $940 was mental?

The one sold by Propworx does not also appear to be the one in the Julien Sands pic, unless different ones were worn if different episodes etc.
- The Sands one in this pic , has the heated aluminium look from the bottom tip, to half way up the crystal, and around the head only.
- The propstore one has the heated alumiuium look everywhere

and from the signature on the back, the one I got is nr 2 of 7 that were made by production

Wherever they went, the've been put under lock and key it appears, as nobody has ever seen them.

I'd have to check ep's, but I guess the following may have happened on SG1 ?
-- every time we see Doci, he wears a different collar, each one is having more of the aluminium heated look than the last one.
-- This may be the answer to why 7 were made and each is looking different in just one particular area ? :)
 
Yes i know, but as i have an original skirt,and are slightly the same, i may have found someone to do the green/turquoise version for me ;-)

I this that this would be fun to replicate. We have a couple of decent pictures. We have a tape measure in one picture, so we can get close.
That lantern has parts that are recognizable commercial parts. the outside frame and the legs look to be 1/4" and 516" brass compression tubing and right angle fittings respectively. The base of the legs are straight 5/16" port plugs. The bottom "bowl" of the lamp looks suspiciously like a 2" steel pipe cap. I'll keep studying it, I think I can identify more parts.

Might have to try one of these.
 
This arrived today:D

I knew that legends had some of these so I emailed them a few months ago but they said they had thrown them away when they moved Wearhouse:cry Luckily I found one for sale on another site. I'm planning on making a vacuum forming buck using these measurements so I can have a lot more for my prop room:cool

Where did you find that? Is it screen used? That would be very cool to get a bunch of them for a prop room, and maybe the hieroglyph walls too? :)

Can't believe legends threw them out :( I would've bought them from them!
