Starfleet Bold Extended Question

I'm putting together some artwork to take to the sign shop for my van decals and I'm wondering if Starfleet Bold Extended is supposed to be dark blue or black. I'd always thought it was dark blue, but I saw on some website a few days ago that said it was black (inside the red pinstripe of course)

Anyone know for sure what's canon?
