Star Wars Thermal Detonator fridge magnets

I was making some CLone wars style Thermal detonators the past week or so and I wanted to make them seperate into two halves like in the cartoon. I sculpted the thermal out of clay and cast both halves in silicone. I had to fill the mold about 2/3rds or more with resin , let set add a magnet then fill the rest.

I was testing them out to see how good the magnets were and my wife adopted them as fridge magnets. She won't give them back to me now.

Shrug........ Oh well looks like i will be doing a run of Thermal Detonator fridge magnets this week lol anyone? :lol

I am not sure how big it is, but since its using a magnet, you can rig a switch, a battery, a blinking LED and a circuit playing the Detonator priming up and exploding sounds.

In other words, once the frid...er, Thermal Detonator is plugged away from the fridge, it "explodes".:lol

Or if the fridge is open too long BLAMMO!!!!!! damn kids letting all the cold air out!!!!!

I've got a couple metal TD halves that I've had for a while. I had been thinking of making a couple of Clone Wars style TDs from them. I might have to make magnets as well. I've got a restraining bolt that I have on my fridge already.

I changed the red bead to a cooler looking one. I know it is a flashing light but this is kind of a fun item and i am not going to go balls out. They a tad smaller then real TD's and. well, dang they are cute. Today is my 90th day here so maybe I will do a run of these in the Junkyard?
