I couldn't imagine in a million years that the prequel trilogy would feel more like Star Wars than this trilogy. Lucas is a genius.
That would be Vader’s helmet. Watch it again.

So the emp has hung out in a ice cube for 30 years.. rebuilding his empire.. why is he rebuilding it?
Oh that’s right, because when the DSII blew up and he died, he actived operation cinder, which was orders to destroy all the imperial structure, weapons and facility’s...

If he loved why destroy everything to build it all over? Why doesn’t this make any damn sense?
Does the lucasfilm story group even talk to these directors anymore?!

They are ordering us to feel emotional and I dont like being told how to feel. What a sappy, empty thing that trailer and poster is. I feel nothing.

Truth. I would love to love this, but hard earned experience says otherwise. I've loathed every JJ Abrams movie I've seen, and at this point it would be foolish to get myself excited for this one when he keeps making creative and thematic decisions that drive me up the wall. And that's not even considering how risk-averse Disney-Lucasfilm has been, a choice that's antithetical to what I found appealing about Star Wars – that was, its daring and willingness to show me new images and ideas.
I'll probably enjoy TROS more if I go in with low expectations, honestly. Less chance of disappointment like that.
