Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Pre-release)

the lower "hum" makes it sound more like Vader's IMO.
Vader's 'saber always had the very noticeable darker/lower hum after it was ignited.

That pointy end is making me really annoyed!!!!!

ESB sabers were perfect. I hate glowstick lightsabers.

They weren't pointy in ESB - they were all wobbly and pulsating weren't they?

Wobbly, pulsating, and pointyish. I like 'em cause they look dangerous.
I wish Rey's (Luke's) saber looked dangerous. To me it just looks like a pointy glowstick. Meh...

Hey laszlo ! Correct me if this isn't what you meant....
Are we seriously nitpicking about a lightsaber?
...that's a huge part of Star Wars to a great number of fans. The pointy tip debate has been discussed before and is usually focused on the new pointed tip look on the straight sided 'tube' sabers, where they had round tips in Episode 1, not the tapered Original Trilogy lightsabers.

Me too, tapered lightsabers look slimmer too like a rapier instead of the new fluorescent tube look.
This is the RPF, after all.
:) Now if the FX team would just listen in here to this particular bit of nitpicking, I'd be a more content Star Wars Geek. And I still have an idea as to how to pull it off! ;)
