lol I thought the same thing. I kept trying to freeze it on that shot to get a good look at the troopers. LET ME SEE THE TROOPERS!!!

If we here on the RPF, based on our members history, can condemn a movie before a trailer even hits the screen, like we have done in the past, this trailer here will be picked apart frame by frame, pixel by pixel for the next year or until the next trailer hits!

All I know is, I was the first one in history to post the trailer (POST 10088) on the RPF!!!!!:devil:devil

The new stormtrooper rifles look like a hybrid between old and something else.

Gotta say, my reaction to the trailer is eh. Quite the style departure from all the others and had too much of a fan film vibe to it...not sure it fits in with the series. Fortunately its just the first trailer, so there's more to come to get me excited, but so far I'm unimpressed.

ya with that Smaug / Khan opening Voice over, I couldn't believe this wasn't a fan trailer... medieval fire blade? seriously? The X-wing cockpit and helmet looked fan-made. that practical speeder effect looked like TV level of effects... Ball droid? It was cute.. but how are the R2 builders going to make this.? put a segway inside a sphere?.... o jeez...:(

WOW, WOW, WOW! I have watched it 10 times and all I can keep saying is Hail JJ Abrams! Incredible teaser. The Stormtrooper armor and (glimpse) of their weapons was great, the Sith (or darkside) lightsaber was great, and the Millennium Falcon! WOW!

Also remember that all of these shots may not be "finished" shots too. May still need effects and stuff added to them.

The lightsaber yeah, look more like a blade of fire. Again, may not be a finished effects shot. If it is, saber makers have some work cut out for them.

Looking at the XWing cockpit details. I'm sure these are just early production shots. There is going to be SO MUCH MORE!
