The most important quality that I feel the British casting can impart is the experience and talent of more classically trained actors. The OT supporting cast are as strong in their roles as the leads. And considering that most of the cast felt the material to be rubbish, it speaks to their professionalism and dedication to their craft to be able to have delivered such believable performances. It just feels real when you're watching them work. In the PT you can practically hear Lucas yell action in each scene as the actors just recite their lines. They didn't buy their lines. The authenticity wasn't there. If they don't buy it, we don't buy it. Here's hoping!
