Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release)

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I could see Leia becoming a tyrant. Someone who's been so uncompromising during the rebellion will have severe difficulties being able to play in any form of democratic arena. People like that tend to become dictators... so... unlike some seeing her as a supreme chancellor or senator or anything... I'd think she'd want to remove herself from anything political in order to save herself and the galaxy from another tyrant regime.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Yeah, he'd probably drive her crazy too with his scoundrel and hound-dog ways and his weekly poker and drinking sessions with Lando.

And constantly raiding the savings account to tinker with the Falcon...

I think Han would have made a dog of a husband and Leia a wretch of a wife. Any mar-i-ozh between those two wouldn't likely have lasted a year.

I mean would it really kill your enjoyment of the movie if Kyle Katarn is standing beside Luke in some scene?

In fact, this is exactly what I want to see. I would love stuff like this. Not obvious, not overdone, just careful, subtle cameos. It's stuff like that would give the film depth.

And we'll find out Threepio's programming includes marriage counseling.

Hamill and Fisher will have to undergo rigorous weight loss programs. Hamill has a huge gut last time I saw him in person and we all know about Fisher's struggle with obesity since she was a teen (Lucas made her go to a fat farm before Star Wars commenced filming) - Plus Fisher has has "work done" on her face, this aint to look pretty when it eventually gets going. They should just do digital versions of them.

It's Hollywood. When the studios are paying the bills they can get any actor into great shape again. You know they'll be getting PAID big BIG bucks this time around. Of course they'll have personal trainers and the works for them.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Hence the rigorous training. One thing that they can't do is bring back their youthful looks. Hamill has huge bags under his eyes looking like he's been watching endless screenings of "The Star Wars Holiday Special" ala eyes forced open (A Clockwork Orange style). Fisher, as mentioned has had skin tightening and dermaplasty. They'll need ALOT of dermafiller to fix her for the screen. Should just digitally re-create like they did with Arnie T-1000 in Terminator Salvation.
