I actually love how this turned out. I bought a dollar store sword, got some PVC pipe from work, a light stick
from the local supermarket, some spray paint and some floral wire and made myself a weapon to go with
my recently purchased Rubies Praetorian Guard costume. Got the costume for $15 a couple of days after
Halloween, so I knew it was a meant to be project. I remade the helmet and added some forearm cuffs,
which now will leave me the boots to make for the complete costume. And this is a temporary stage for the
weapon. I have to add some electronic detail to the piece that houses the blade. But overall, a decent
representation for the actual weapon. I only had a few images to go on at the time. And I decided to cap the
project's butt with a Kanann lightsaber hilt toy, for balance. All in all, I believe I only spent $22 to be able to
have at home a bit of the movie, The Last Jedi.
