Star Wars OT/PT Vinyl Albums

Curios if anyone else on the forum collects vintage vinyl Star Wars Albums? I recently got into this, wanting to add some original SW items to display in my collection, but staying away from the action figure & absurdly expensive aspect. There are several interesting facets to collecting these albums and a lot to learn about the pressing and other variants.

So far, I have been able to obtain:

Sealed copy of the Story of Star Wars 1977 picture disc, US PR-103.
Sealed copy of the Story of Star Wars US 62101 Vista release
Promotional Copy of TESB single disk (select cuts) US RSO RPO 4201
ESB The Adventures of Luke Skywalker , US RSO RS-1-3081

There are several I am currently pursuing. The cover art on these is amazing, plus the original images, soundtrack, etc. you get with these. I thought it would make for interesting conversation and maybe get some tips from a more experienced vinyl collector than I am. I am using Discogs.com to evaluate and discern which variants/pressings I am hunting or reviewing to add, but there is not a lot out there on Youtube or other websites I can find discussing this aspect of collecting.

I have a few vintage vinyl soundtracks, not too many:

Used copy Star Wars 1977 original score 20th Century Records T2-541 (the one with the awesome poster and earlier version 20th Century Records labels)
Sealed copy Superman The Movie original score Warner Bros. Records – 2BSK 3257
Sealed copy Raiders of the Lost Ark original score Polydor – PDS-1-6396
Used copy Batman 1989 original score Warner Bros. Records 1-25977 (not for sale/promotional sleeve)

I would've preferred to buy all sealed copies but 1. They're pretty expensive and 2. I'm not sure I have the guts to open them even if I did. I want to actually play these on occasion. I do try to find near mint copies along with good condition outer sleeves. The Star Wars and Batman albums are in really nice condition considering their age and being used. The Superman album not so much on the outer sleeve (why I'm not afraid to unseal it) but it was hard to find a good one. The Raiders album is also in good shape. I bought both of them for a great price despite being unused. I would like to eventually have the whole trilogy along with maybe a few other iconic film scores.

There is definitely something satisfying about holding and playing a vinyl album as opposed to a cd. Yes, Discogs is a wonderful resource for learning all the variants.

I just won a NM Star Wars 1977 Soundtrack with poster. It too is a first pressing with the early address. Got it at a great price to boot.

What I learned on Discog’s is that in late early “78” they moved to the other address. When I look at sold auction it does look like most of the early first pressings had the 4225 address and there may be fewer versions with the 8544 address. I do believe all the CRC will be later address.
