Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

I was honestly thinking that when they were fighting
me:" oh...here it comes...she's about to spin that thing and fly off somehow"

so, i will give them a little credit for NOT doing that but the next episode is like an hour and a half so...it could still happen
I hope so. It's the last piece of the absurdity puzzle this show needs to be complete.

The Hasbro Reva saber has several configurations...

Single blade, full ring
Double blade, full ring
Single blade, half ring

I don't think it actually breaks down into 2 sperate sabers like Vader used, because the prototype shown has the 'secondary' blade synced with the main one so you don't have both sides showing a clash at the same time. The way it was explained it seems there's only one slave unit in the hilt & the secondary blade & other ring half just connect to the main hilt.

....but it doesn't spin...

It's all good brother.
I had to go back and look at what i saw. He stops the whole thing in circle format when she is spinning it. He freezes it, then force pulls it to himself. When the camera shot shows him with it in his hands it's not in circle form anymore(weird) and he appeares to snap it(or i thought). The saber appears longer now with theses two handles pointing up(looks nothing like the saber he actually pulled). I must of thought he busted it but now i think it was just multiple edits thrown together. Anyways, i never knew the saber actually came apart like that.

Hasbro kept hedging the prototype features from the way I viewed it, I guess they expect LFL will alter the capabilities further - if you can create two blades.

My guess is in the Finale when Obi returns Leia to Bail Organa the question is going to come up from Leia about how Bail knows "Ben". She may be confused about the names Obi-wan and Ben just like Luke was in ANH, in which Bail explains to her he was a "General" and it would be only fitting for a princess to refer to him respectfully as "General Kenobi". Especially, after organizing the safety of all those people and herself. That would be how they may fill the plot hole.

The final piece of corn in the turd.

For fun should we place bets on how Vader kills Reva in the last episode, I bet a good old fashioned decapitation.
My bet is that Obi turns Reva to the good after explaining things to her about where he was. Then after acheiving that little feat, the both sit down together and commune with Qui-Gon who teaches them the Art of disappearing like OBI did with Vader in ANH. When Reva faces Vader for the 3rd time, instead of being afraid and taking a stabbing via lightsaber, she has the calm of ANH OBI as she closes her eyes and disappears as Vader takes a slash at her...just my guess

I know most that are actively discussing this probably don't care, but here's some of the 'official' Inquisitor's Saber info, with citations to the canon media.

I thought the flying crap was one of the dumbest things I'd ever seen, & it's still a ridiculous visual, but evidently the rings have micro-repulsors that have enough lift to get a person off the ground.

Not trying to justify or change anyone's outlook. I just thought the info was interesting. Might've been better received if ANY of it had been explained, as opposed to the way they seem to like to do- figure that everyone keeps up with EVERY piece of media & will figure it out on their own.
