Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

Hahaha... I had to look up what that meant, but the truth is, I gave them a green t-shirt. They then wrapped the carbon fiber shell with it, coated it with resin, then vacuumed sealed the whole thing until it was one solid piece. Any patterns or colors you see in a prosthetic socket are fabrics stretched over the carbon & then resined.

Didn't want you obsessing over nothing.
Not sure if that makes it more cool or less cool...

My secret shame…I actually like the “Victory Celebration” piece written for the Special Edition better—by a lot—than Yub Nub.
I've always been partial to it as well. Probably because I had piano sheet music for it when I was kid and I liked playing it a lot. I also feel it works better as song concluding the Saga as a whole. While Yub Nub works better just for ROTJ.

I can respect that. Luke's story is front and center and the true heart of that movie. Everything else comes secondary to it in my mind and that perspective has never changed for me. I also love Temple of Doom. But hey, "I'm just a bitter old man", what do I know? Lol

Sorry for my derail too.
If SW was made in this day and Age it would be Leia front and centre with Luke in the back seat...
Her Story her adventure.
But then it Always was...
I‘ve been binging Sliders all afternoon.
I loved that show, so many possibilities..
In a way Fringe reminded me of it.. That deserves a rewatch too Bonkers TV back before JJ got into bed with The Big Boys..

I know I've watched ROTJ a billion times because its my favorite Star Wars movie but for some reason i payed attention to this one tiny part that had me laughing hysterically.

When C3p0 is telling the Ewoks the story of their adventures, Leia leans in to Han to snuggle up to him...on the other side Wicket starts to snuggle up to Han as well, climbing up on his lap and the camera shows Han rolling his eye's...lol.
I don't know people are saying Harrison and Carrie had diminished acting...their facial expressions alone were awesome and made me laugh...check out Mark Hamill when they got captured and C3p0 is talking...I swear he broke character and started laughing and they just went with it...lol..right before Han tells C3p0, " well why don't you use your devine influence ..." The Ewoks really sort of lightened things up, setting you up for the more dramatic ending...then played Storm Troopers helmets like drums..classic
I just got the Shivers reading that, I love that Calm before the storm moment.

I always looked out for Wedge from SW to ROTJ.. He always seemed cool and I wanted more as an 11 Yr old .. I was thrilled to find out the Ewan connection back in the day..

So we know that Ewoks have no problem eating people and who knows what else. Imagine seeing literally thousands (or maybe millions?) flooding through the forests from out of nowhere, overwhelming Imperial troops. Obviously budget was a concern but I also think the Ewoks would've worked better if they did have some sort of vicious side to them. Maybe not to the extent of Mogwai but something a little freaky. Those dead unblinking eyes (before the SE) could've belied a terrible truth. Lol

I feel they work because they used their native terrain as a tactical advantage against the Empire, so they were smart in that regard. They also serve the same thematic purpose that Wookies would. My guess is the main objection is that they're cute. But to each their own.
I took the Ewok victory as a cautionary tale, the Empire was a big war machine with high tech that was rendered impotent due to gorilla tactics. When ROTJ came out the Vietnam war had ended 8 years earlier and that might have been some of the inspiration. The US had the best “war machine” but could do absolutely nothing with it due to the jungle, similar to when USSR invaded Afghanistan in the 80’s.Throughout history, numerical supremacy does not always equal victory.
I bet after the battle of Endor those Ewoks ate awesome for the next few months.Chief Chirpa “Should we cook some more humans” all Ewoks reply “ Yub Nub!!”

It’s ok - I prefer the original music - although the celebration piece worked better now that I think about it, flutes vs drums…

And no matter what anyone thinks, there’s a reason the helmets had no owners. Murderbears indeed.

Disney sucks for many reasons, one huge one is they have no talent. If they did they could have strong Female leads, Black leads, Black female leads, Native American leads, Asian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and of course the Australians as leads, etc. all of whom could be awesome without making other beloved characters suddenly stupid and un like their previous selves.
That's the thing though. Disney doesn't do strong female leads, they do strong male leads with breasts. They don't understand that there's a difference between men and women. They are not identical. Women don't have to be Rambo to be worthwhile, yet in every single movie, that's what they're trying to make them. Ellen Ripley didn't need to bench press an alien to be a kick ass character. Sarah Connor didn't need to go toe-to-toe with a Terminator. They were strong, independent women who remained women.

In a world where everything is seemingly interchangeable, modern writers can't figure out what they're doing wrong.

I agree that was Moses Ingram's best performance. I liked that she carried Luke back and didn't just leave him there or drop him off hobbling off into the darkness. I don't buy the fact that Reva is now entirely "free" spirtually. Realizing the error of one's ways and letting go of a lifelong revenge quest is just the beginning. If she wants to make herself truly "free" she has to work to forgive herself and be forgiven by others through her actions.
All I know is, I hope that Reva dies by the end of the proposed Reva series, otherwise that makes one more Jedi type to account for during the OT. While I have no problems with Ezra, Ahsoka, & Kanan, adding Reva to the mix, to me, is one Force user/Jedi too many.
