Limited Run Star Wars Han Solo Episode VII Leather Jacket (2025 $150 run)

Added you guys to the list!

Gah... I still can't believe this is happening. I never thought EVER we'd see Han Solo hit the big screen again. This is just all so amazing......

Yes and have you seen how enthusiastic he seems to be in the trailers? I mean, I know it's not the whole movie, but I haven't seen him looking as invested in a movie in years!

Hey guys!

After a lot of research, I found the exact type of leather that was used in the screen used jacket, what do you think?

Notice how the distressed leather looks either black or brown depending on the light, exactly like the one Harrison Ford uses.

Hey guys!

After a lot of research, I found the exact type of leather that was used in the screen used jacket, what do you think?

It looks pretty close!

Is the dye actually black or brown? I'm pretty sure that the top layer of the screen jacket is more black and only the weathing is causing the brown effect. (Think about the way vintage goatskin jackets look when weathered. Top layer was actually black but the dye didn't seep too deep into the leather, causing it to look brown where the light skin color would poke through.

After seeing this pic it was very clear to me that it was a very dark brown (so it could look black and even shine with a bit of a blue hue) but distressed in a way that it looked more brownish, since you can see that the distressed parts are clearly brown. After that it was a matter of studying dye composition to find the exact reddish tone of the distressed parts (instead of khaki or yellow as it's commonly made), and after more experimenting we finally got the exact tone.

What's the plan for the lining? I kind of figured it would be along the same lines as your Starlord jacket. I checked the the project run thread but didn't find any pics of the inside of that jacket.

I'm thinking just a simple comfortable lining with two inner pockets.
