Is this DL-44 the same as the old one?

Esentially, yes, although there are a few differences: no brass trim at the ends of the scope, no screw underneath the flash hider, and no "sleeve" over the barrel (sorry if that's not the right term. I'm rusty on my DL-44 terminology).

That gun is a gas blowback airsoft (the fill hole on the bottom of the mag)
