My Feedback :

Great design and size, perfect !
I'm a BIG 2-1B Fan, please make that bust in exact that size ( cut under the chest armor) !!!!

Thanks el loco .. much appreciated and that's exactly what I plan to do too! :thumbsup

I'm curious to know if people just want the shoulder part or also the start of the tubing that goes into it. Not sure how it would look to just have the first 2" of the upper arm though!

My 2 cents is...no arms. Like how sideshow made their busts.

So I'm wondering .. would you guys prefer to have just the torso not in the form of a bust .. so that you can either use it as a full droid or convert to bust.
OR
You want to save yourself the trouble of having to convert anything and it needs to be a bust that is ready to paint and display?

Cause we currently have the whole 9D9 bust model which we're gonna modify now into a bust .. but it's kind of a shame to hack it up for display purpose and have it printed as a bust only! ;)

Noted .. I still need to produce a bust though so that will be the first to come out .. after, I'll see about popularity and demand for more!

Hey guys,

Model is really close to be finished, but I lack the proper imagination to design a base. I was thinking to use the same base for all the droid busts, so that there is consistency but I don't have a good idea of what the underside should look like.

Any of you have either imagination or a good example of what this should look like?

My modeler is waiting on me .. and I would prefer to not have him iterate 5 times to get to an acceptable state where I can print this!

Any idea is more than welcome!

I prefer simple square black painted bases for my models and props, and i think a pole with a 5-7 cm diameter to mount the bust would be great.

Just wondering Bigturc if a RA-7 head would sort of magically just, I dont know, perhaps become a run too :p

Either that or I just buy Zorg a ticket to Australia and give him my garage to work in ;)

LOL .. the bug droid is really cool but no, I don't think I'll get there. I put that one on hold while I finish my HIC. I also never came up with a proper vision on how the bust would be like (bottom + base) so until I feel more creative, I will not move on to print this yet! :)

Feel free to show a sketch of what you would like .. you might just hit the jackpot if I like it too!

Ha, my bags are packed, ready when you are rob! Will sculpt for food.

I see there is a new ra-7 in the rogue one behind the scenes vid, it looks like its been done on computer then printed out, there is quite a lot of differences between it and the original trilogy droid wonkiness. I'll stick to the wonky one.

hmm, might just do that. I am an Architect though, design isn't my forte haha

I'm back on this people .. will get the parts printed for the neck and will close the torso deal with the modeler in the next days. I am still looking at the best way to do a bust of this.

Anyone can come up with a nice interesting-to-the-eyes design of how it should look like?
