Star Wars EP7 Rey Staff help?

Hi All!

Emerald City Comic Con is coming up in seattle in about 2 weeks, and my younger sister wants a Rey costume. We already have an idea for how to make the cotume itself, we're just a little stuck on the staff that she carries in the beginning of the movie. Could you help us out?

There are multiple sales threads for DIY kits in the Project Runs subforum of the Classifieds section If you're not concerned about accuracy, some people raid their local hardware store in order to build budget versions.

I'm almost at the part of my rey build myself, I got at wooden staff that i plan on covering with Eva foam and then the thermoplastic called Worbla.
