There were packing crates and barrels outside the exit from the trash compactor. These could have contained boots, a clean white dress and Wookiee schampoo.

I figure the Stormtroopers got off a couple surprised shots before Chewie and/or Obi-Wan took them out.

That sound effect is never used for E-11s anywhere else.....but is used for Han's pistol.

Maybe Obi Wan levitated the helmets off and Han shot them both in the head.
