Star Wars Battlefront Jump Pack Prop (WIP)

I am working on a creation of a Star Wars battlefront jump pack prop replica

Here are some pictures of what I have been working on so far.

I chose to do the imperial jump pack in the newest instalment in the battlefront series.
I first started by looking at the game carefully and got a few screen grabs to eye ball the dimensions and shape of it
i then started creating the rough shape out of sheets of old carboard


After i I got the general shape of the pack from the best idea I could I then started adding additional building and shaping


After i had the basic build I then started to cover it all in 2 layers of fibreglass


After everyhing had had finished drying and curing I sanded any excess resin and glass which pretuded from the shape of it
the next step was to cover it in P38 car body filler which is the UK equivalent to Bondo. I gave it an all over general rough coat to add more registry and to fill in some gaps that missed when fibreglassing.


The next step is to sand down all of the filler as smooth as possible, which I will then add another layer to give it a smooth finish which I will fine sand.
I will keep updating the post on my progress of this project

Little update:
Been super busy and trying to get some more materials
have started to sand down and smoothen all the bondo of the pack, I have also cut the main hole where the grill will be installed

Between different projects I have got back on track on the pack, hopefully in time for Star Wars celebration London. I have been working more on sanding and filling to give a better finish

Any update on this? Would love to see more. I've been looking for somebody that makes these before I try to make my own. What are your dimensions on this?
