-1 point for not using actual popsicle sticks (and enjoying 4 popsicles as part of the build) for the P2 handle.

If you, you're very entertaining!
I had the thought that if one was using this prop for actual filming, an enhancement would be to have a triggered LED in the 'emitter' tip to aid with the special effects timing... a 9V battery, a micro-switch, etc and "Bob's your uncle"!
