My friends and I are wanting to build a replica prop from TOS for their nursery. We're very interested in creating something based on the Type 4B Alpha.

We're very new at this and don't know where to find switches or knobs or the like. We found lights we might be able to use, and we're hoping to program a Raspberry Pi to control the lights and add sound. Where does one find supplies for props like this? We don't want it to be a fully functional computer, per se. We're more interested in a tactile toy with buttons and switches that may or may not actually control anything except blinking lights and maybe a few sounds.
