I've had a couple makers here on the rpf reach out about a collaboration to provide a complete set along with the jackets. Nothing is nailed down yet, and I'm still looking at options.

There is a lower zipper that splits it so you can sit down comfortably! Can this be done? Zlurpo Jameel Ur ??? Wow!

Very doable. That kind of zipper is very common on some types of jackets.

I saw that Picard production designer Dave Blass commented on the color on Twitter, nice to have his attention and get his input!

I am confused about how order are going to be taken. Jameel said that these were to be sold later on "Big effect props Etsy store" for around $350, but then he also said that Zlurpo would be taking orders directly in this thread, but then also his Excellent Leather Shop is already taking orders for $400. So...where should orders be placed/taken?

Big effect props going to start taking orders from RPF forum as well Etsy store. I'm taking orders from other social media.
So, basically these jacket available for sale on both sides.
All three colors in male and female versions.

Yes, I noticed it when I saw this high resolution picture.
I'm going to use this two way zipper in production.

Very much so. I’ve always been an advocate of making “costumes” so that they appear in the real world the way they look onscreen to the viewer (as opposed to some of the color tricks they have to use on set to get the result the viewer sees.)

It's always hard to match "screen color" because everyone's TV or monitor has different color characteristics. Looks good to me. The blue is what I'm interested in. It's very deep blue.
