Star Trek First Contact Phoenix

A couple of years ago I designed a roughly 1/35 (ish) scale Phoenix from Star Trek First Contact for 3D printing. Made it as good as i could from the references I could find at the time. Afterwards i managed to get some much better references, but hadnt updated it until now.

After seeing someone else claim it as their own, i decided to finally update/improve it, and add the full booster stage thats seen in the movie.
I believe I can say for certain that this is now more detailed and more accurate than the one shown at SDCC and STLV recently.

The nacelle arms can fold properly, and it has a cockpit. Assembled with the missile stack it's about 750mm as designed, roughly 1/35, perhaps 1/48 scale. I am also printing one at 1.5x the size. Now on to paint and lighting!

looks like it could almost be used as a studio model. well done
let us know if you plan to sell your files I am certain there are a lot of fans that would love to build it as well

gunthar1895 its funny you say it could be used as a studio model. A prop replica company featured a print of my mk1 version at SDCC claiming it was theirs.

I think it would be interesting to put it in a minute man silo diorama
It is based on the TITAN II ICBM, so it would never fit in a Minuteman Silo, it would have to be a TITAN II Silo. Fun fact is the location where they filmed the silo scene in the movie was located south of Tucson, AZ at a missile complex that I used to visit and support when I was in the Air Force in the early 80s. I went back to that silo in the late 90s after they had decommissioned it and made it into a TITAN II Museum and they talked about the filming they did for the movie.

I visited the Titan Missile Museum in 2014, it is a very cool place! I would have loved to have had more time and taken one of the extended tours. Here is an album of photos I took during the vacation to Arizona when I visited the museum; many dozens of photos of the museum start about 2/3rds of the way down the album. There are also dozens of photos of the Kitt Peak astronomical observatory site, plus a scattering of other area subjects.

For aerospace enthusiasts, here is an album of over 300 photos I took at the Pima Air and Space Museum, which was another amazing place.

Nice pictures! They are bringing back memories of my time stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB and how I enjoyed that part of Arizona. Kitt Peak Observatory was always a nice visit. I never did get to check out that Church/Mission. I remember visiting the Pima Air and Space Museum when it was located away from town!
