Star Trek: Beyond Cosplay

Hey guys! So I'm heading to RICC in November and my friends and I are looking at various options for Star Trek cosplays on a collegiate budget. We came across this beyond tunic:

I'm a 501st member so I'm trained to be wary of cosplaysky's star wars fair, but does anyone have an info on this particular piece? We've been searching for reviews or customer pictures, but nothing has come about. Any help appreciated!

PS: If anyone has some leads on pants or boots I'll take those too! Thanks!

When it comes to sketchy cosplay sites and their merch, I try and find video reviews of them. It doesn't always work, but you might find one. Then you can see it outside the site, on a person with no ulterior agenda, how it fits, if it's accurate to the listing or not, etc.

That's really your only choice apart from buying it yourself. If a real picture hasn't been posted here or in the Amazon reviews, I can't think of anywhere else they might be. Cosplay.com maybe?

The Amazon reviews look decent, I'd search Trek boards for any reviews or information. If you do purchase this tunic, I strongly suggest replacing the pin-on badge with a magnetic version, on this type of material it won't take long for pin holes to loosen and damage the fabric.

Thanks folks! I did manage to find one video review of it shortly after posting this. The guy said the same thing about the magnetic pin, and pointed out some thingsa that need to be altered. Mostly adding the black to the neck and cuffs to give it that undershirt looks, as well as some minor trimming and sewing down on the cuffs. It looks pretty good, and I have a few people that could help modify it to make it a little better. Thanks for the good advice!
