Made some progress over the weekend. I'm working with my brother to incorporate some 3D printed pieces into the design. The orb will still feature spun stainless steel and aluminum parts though. Moving forward with this full steam ahead! Here are a couple renderings:

I think I have the lighting figured out as well. I'll start taking pre-orders in a couple weeks for those still interested. :thumbsup
