Faustus, all i used was a little drum sander attachment on a dremel and curled up a piece of sandpaper and slowly fit it into place. i marked out about what i thought would need trimming and then slowly worked it down until it fit. takes a few minutes but worth it so i didnt have to use filler.

I may have missed it, but how is this going to be displayed? Hanging from the ceiling, a stand? In any case it's going to need a lot of space. Is weight an issue? Is it going to be very heavy when completed?

Not sure on the display, this is a commision build. im thinking it will be close to 80 to 100 pounds. and thats being generous. i can pick it up now with no struggle. the epoxy is great for keeping the weight down, if it was resin which would be crazy about 400 to 500 pounds.

Al-san, The Medallion is great !! It could surely point out the secret hidden place of the lost ark. And all the cargo box is sharp and crispy.

BTW, you have really thick and charming fingers. :lol

I figured i would post an update before certain RPF members got on me about not making a weekend update. you know who you are.



I got the Cargo boxes molded and put on for the other side, and we started on a few other parts. will be back on the cone tomorrow. also been working out the hydraulics and a few other parts. heres a few pics for today.

Oneye. well theres a few but not sure which one i will do. theres a SS Nostromo, and invisable hand. those are both very big. i have a few smaller ones for myself the Raiders wing plane and a SS klingon BOP.
