**SPOILERS** New RoS prop image **SPOILERS**

I didn't scale down the staff pieces when I made mine. Surprisingly doesn't feel unwieldy. 11 6/8" long with the top closed.

But if you made it shorter than the actual 12" length of that section of her staff to begin with, it was already scaled down a bit.

You've got a point, SethS.
One of the "Darth Maul" style radiator fins was lifted away from the body of the saber and serves as a grip clip.

Oh, good catch! I'm really waiting for more screen caps of it attached to her belt as she goes into the old moisture farm to get a good look at that. I'd like to model that up.

There's an image floating about in the depths of reddit of the prop, not a shot from the movie, that shows this. From a distance it almost looks like an MPP clamp lever. But it functions like the TROS Graflex belt clip.

You should post it! Reddit is so disorganized that I bailed after 20 minutes.

I can't share any pictures, but I can confirm this. It's a pretty nasty, pointy clip! Attached to the lower 'Pratt Burnerd collet'.

Can sort of see it here.

Yeah, I went searching on reddit for it, too. Gave up after an hour of casually looking. Maybe I was in the wrong subreddits since searching anything for lightsabers of all of reddit brings up mostly Galaxy's Edge stuff.

I see you didn't save the pic, but do you happen to remember what subreddit you were reading when you saw it? I'd really like to find this pic

Very slowly dialing this in. On my second rotate->pusher mech and am considering redesigning again. Not sure what others have done but I'm thinking geared "petals" with rotating threads might be my best bet now. The mech I currently have feels fragile and is difficult to move.

Also IBuildRobots thanks for sharing measurements! I just measured mine and I've got 328mm so it sounds like we're both in the same ballpark! Mine was sized to my hand and eyeballed.
