While I don't know who made that above image, I can tell you it's a photoshop that uses the below Anovos replica stock photo as a base. It's not a literal prop picture but it is a relatively well done photoshop replicating the look of her saber.
It very well illustrates that Rey's saber is literally the end of her staff removed and flipped upside down.

And we can also surmise the size of the hilt because of the measurements of the staff. The staff is 6 feet long. The part used for the hilt is almost exactly 1/6 the length of the staff, meaning this hilt is ~12 inches long.

Which is 1 inch longer than the classic Skywalker hilt.

I had done this below comparison earlier purely for illustration purposes. The wrap and the teeth are not screen accurate, just put in to illustrate the point that it is literally her staff.

There are some minor differences between the staff prop and the saber prop (a couple angles, measurements, and those little holes) but it's clear the intention is for this to be made from the same gear.

I’d say the largest indicator towards the TLJ Ben Solo prop having a red cap would be the fact that the Galaxy’s Edge replica has it.

Another screen cap of Rey’s saber from the boot. Seems the bulbous bell shaped parts are more square/flat in this version of the prop.

I printed a rough version of the Leia Saber and shot it with some primer just to see if the size feels right. I also tried to pose it alongside my Graflex to see how they relate. I was worried I was building it a bit on the small side, but this seems really good. And it make sense with Leia likely having smaller hands.

I believe what you are seeing is two of the grips blurring together from the bad quality image. It has a d-ring so it wouldn’t need a clip on the grip.

Am I the only one who thought the prop design was awful in this movie? All of the new lightsabers, the wayfinder, the dagger... Not only was their aesthetic unpleasing, but they also looked incredibly cheaply done.

Y'know, that hadn't occurred to me until now, especially the dagger. It looked like something you'd buy off a dodgy Aliexpress "cosplay" store.

I actually kind of like this saber in primer grey.
But I still stand by my opinion when it’s all rose gold and chrome. Blech.
