Hi Spidey-fans,
I wanted a Spidey-backpack but didnt find what i was looking for. So i decided to make one.
I want it to look like a back made out of Spideys webs (comic style).

I got me a backpack which is perfect in my eyes.

For the webs i found a material too. I made 3 different types of webs. Yet im not sure with what style i will go.
Also i have to find something to cover them and to attach them to the backpack.

Which style of webs you prefer? I guess i will go with the 3rd one.

Stay tuned, ill keep updating.

Mados makes an awesome web backpack in the project runs category of the classifieds on this site. It may not be exactly what you're looking for, but may help with some design ideas.

Thanks for the advices :)
Those backpacks are sweet. But they look a bit too much like a turtle shell.

But if i dont succeed to make the backpack i will get one of those :)

The webbing looks great. It might be difficult to keep it on the drawstring bag, though, since there's no hard shell. I'm really interested to see how this develops.

My plan is to sew the webs on some spots on the backpack. This should give the backpack a shape too. And then i will cover the whole backpack to keep the webs in place :)
Tomorrow ill try to cover the webs so they stay in shape themselves.

Some pics in the day light.
Most of the webs will be covered by other webs (mainly the areas that i dont like). But i like it so far.

Ok guys ^^ im not happy with the backpack so far.

I decided to make a kind of sock with a zipper i can wrap a backpack in.

That should work better. ^^
