Spiderman (Reboot) Civil War and future Costumes and Wardrobe ~possible spoilers~

Sure, but only for scenes in which the real suit was used. A couple of scenes/sequences in TASM2 which included the suit were entirely cgi'd.

This is a video illustrates my point: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpLXI4w2nuc (2:00-2:17 in particular is kind of what I based my original statement ["It could still be CGI'd, like in TASM2 and in Civil War"] off of).

I mainly had the Civil War suit in mind when I said "real, tangible suit, CGI accents and effects." You could be right about it only being the eyes, but to me it looked completely computer-generated. I guess there's really no way to know for the time being...

Once again, I'm sorry for all the confusion I have caused! I hope this message explains things better.
There's only some cgi in the movie it's a real suit most stuns were real with a real suit

Alright...
my original point was simply distinguishing between the suit and/or amount of CGI in TASM1 vs in TASM2 and Civil War. I'm not trying to argue that suit was or wasn't animated for the entirety of any movie or anything, just trying to make a distinguishment between the amount of CGI in each of these movies respectively. To me, it seemed like TASM1 used mostly a real, tangible suit and used CGI for the minority of the scenes, whereas TASM2 and, even more prominently, Civil War, seemed to rely on CGI and use the real, tangible suits for the minority of the scenes.

I seem to remember people mentioning that for Civil War the only practical suit was for a stuntman or something and didn't fit Tom very well, hence the heavy CG in the final film
I could be wrong, it was all second hand info

From what I heard they had a suit on hand but didn't end up using that design and completely changed it with cgi in post. I think it was done to prevent leaks.

Hi, I have seen a New Balance 373 with the same color scheme as the 420, the design is pretty much the same. Base on the pics available you can't tell if its either of the 2 models.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they only enhanced the eyes with CGI.

Well sort of... See, Tom never was fitted with his own suit for CW so he had to borrow his stunt doubles suit, which is why it looked CG. They trimmed it down later, but on the computer

That is awesome that you found a nice alternative but sadly if you pay close attention to the shoes there are some differences. It's definitely the 420 but those 373 are great alternatives.

I am a solid 85% sure that the navy blue "Midtown" sweatshirt Peter has in the closeup is a Champ Eco-Fleece Sweatshirt by Alternative Apparel (http://www.alternativeapparel.com/champ-eco-fleece-sweatshirt-09575f2). The collar and raglan sleeves both look to be identical in their respective shape, stitching, and location.

However, this sweatshirt is not available in a navy blue color, but I think that the exact color and texture could be achieved (and may have been for Tom's sweatshirt) by purchasing the Champ in the "Eco Oatmeal" color (which is probably the most stupid name for a clothing color I've ever seen btw :D ) and dyeing it navy blue. RIT Dye has a thing on their website which allows you to have a custom dye color created for you from a picture or fabric sample. I would use this.

Also, one major difference that I could find in the actual pattern of the sweatshirt itself is in the stitching of the "hem" or/of the waist section of the sweatshirt. The AA sweatshirt mimics the sleeve cuffs for the waist hem, whereas Tom's appears a bit different. Maybe his is just hemmed on the waist? To me it looks like that could be what's going on there...
What do you guys think?
