Spiderman lens help,

Hello all, just had a quick question.
I had accidentally spilled a drop of super glue onto my lens and it has caused the spot to become hard and cloudy.. Are these pretty much ruined now? I've tried alcohol, acetone (to my regret, learned it eats through plastic) and can't seem to get it to clear up again

There's a product called "Goo Gone" that *might* work as an alternative, but obviously you'd wanna test it on some other clear plastic first.

If, however, the Super Glue or the damage from the acetone can't easily be removed...there's the "nuclear option" of sanding away the damage and then slowly working your way up to a super-fine grit sandpaper/polish until the plastic is shiny again.
