Hello!! I’m making this thread for my eaves brooks replica 1977 spiderman costume. I’ve been wanting this suit for nearly 6 years but never thought I’d be able to acquire one, unless I got lucky on eBay. I have started to made suit patterns a little over a year now on photoshop for spiderman costumes but primarily for dye subs. I personally never wanted the suit to be printed like that on white fabric it wouldn’t be the same but my troubles are finally over!!
Spider_pleb on Instagram has made an amazing pattern for these suits and I couldn’t be happier. I also found out the printcostume.com also makes suits in red and blue fabrics so truly for the money it’s the closest to perfect you can get.
Now with that being said it’s not a exact 1:1 replica of the original. The main thing I found missing is the sowed in blue overalls, and the zipper is a bit different there’s no flap and it’s not bronze. Now when it comes to the zipper you might be able to tell printcostume to add the flap but I haven’t tried that yet I’m happy with the invisible zipper.
But that’s about it! I’d love this thread to be a main spot for all eaves brook style suits so if you have one share it!! I’m planning on getting two more printed up so I can have a tv one and a Japanese one. Im also going to tweak the one I have to make it look more like the 90s one but if you just want that one ult_Spidey on insta has that one!!
