Specific ROTJ Power Droid parts

Working on a Power Droid for a little Droid Dungeon setup at an upcoming con. Anybody have any idea what these parts on the "face" of the Power Droid might be? The round silver part on the right of the face looks to be the back of an old wind up alarm clock though I can't find which model. The square part to the left looks like it might be part of a model kit or maybe the guts to some kind of late 70s / early 80s electronics....? Unfortunately these are the best pics I could find.
