hey joe i don't want to thread jack but i put up a pic of my studs.
these are the 1/2 inch which is about 12mm. i think they are too small.
so i think the size you got will work better.

maybe the half inch stud will be useful for the neck ring . let me 10 minutes to take pictures of mine

Ok folk , It's not complete , need to adjust the eye brows , put studs on the arms , finish the silver paint , fix the cape and tie and little touch up here and here ..

well here is how it look like for now
