Spaceballs Crew Member

Started on a Spaceballs Crew Member. Pretty basic costume but one I've always wanted to do.


Beginnings of the helmet. I'm pretty pleased with it but may have cut the opening too large for my head. It doesn't look horrible or anything but didn't follow the cardinal rule of: cut smaller, you can always make it bigger.


Also started on the belt buckle. Probably won't make this much fancier.

That's my start. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The ball is just a globe for a lamp. Pretty solid plastic and was easy to cut. I'm going to paint it because it's semi transparent but it could probably be used as is without paint.

Wish more people would do Space balls costumes. Easy costume and always gets a lot of positive feedback!

Nice job. Looks a lot like mine and yes, it was easy and cheap to setup. I wore mine at DragonCon last year and people loved it.
