Space conscious MR saber displays

I don't have the artistic or crafting skills of so many people in the forum, but I thought I would show off my saber displays anyway.

I keep many of my sabers at work, but when I acquired an office-mate I found myself with not enough room to display everything. The solution was a couple of home-made wall displays -- one for my full-size sabers and another for my minis. These allow me to display on about 6 square feet of wall space what used to occupy 3 separate 3' x 5' shelving units.

This one is obviously made of plywood, over-engineered to ensure that none of these shelves ever drop a saber.

And this one is black acrylic, with small individual shelves for each mini.

Man, that's INSANE. Looks like a saber dispenser, very nice work. :thumbsup

Nice display system.

What sabers are those on either side of, and above the Dooku mini? I'm a Star Wars enthusiast, but not a movie saber collector and I don't recognize them. Are they EU sabers? I also can't see them all that well (they're too small :p )

Of course, after I find out, I'll probably go, D'oh.

I think to the right is a Windu (ROTS), the left is a Sidious (ROTS), and above is a Yoda (unsure of which version).

I think...

That's a beautiful display though... so many sabers..

Row 2 is the smoke chrome Yoda and half Maul. Row 3 is Sidious and Windu E3.

Thanks all for the comments.

Someone asked about plans for the mini saber display, so I have posted them here:

Microsoft Visio Document

and

Like the display itself, my plans are nothing fancy -- but might be helpful to someone thinking of doing the same thing.

not exactly MR sabers, but I use these cases for my replica sabers, $5 cases from a KB Toys outles store for 1:18 Model Cars.
