Space 1999 stun gun MPC kit

Made this recently. Made it pretty much as standard, except I filled the whole thing with milliput so that it feels much more solid and heavy in the hand. I also used vinyl tape instead of decals and lightly sanded the chromed plastic just to try and make it look a little more metallic.

It's always nice to see some Space 1999 stuff.

Great idea filling it with milliput and dulling the chrome parts! I'll do that on my next build.

Here is mine, I modified the stungun to one seen in Break Away, it is a early basic stungun.

It isn't metal, it's chromed plastic, it comes with the kit.

Cannot gage the size of prop by the size of the hand holding it

I find it hard to work out the size of a prop from any photo. It's a constant source of annoyance!

I have a couple of these kits, along with the Mike Reader parts, waiting to be built. I was wondering how thick the plastic is, is it easy to fill the seams?

It's thick enough. The seams aren't too bad at all. Everything seems to fit well enough, the nozzles on the gun and the switches on the commlock are a tight fit, especially as the switches need painting before fitting!

I would be interested in the contact information for Mike Reader as well, those parts look awesome. I thought I would be content with the Sixteen12 gun and comm-lock now I feel compelled to buy the kit and build these. Not the first time the RPF has done this to me.
