Space 1999 drill

OK, not the most taxing to build or stunning to look at, but I've made a replica of the drill Doctor Russell uses in the episode 'Earthbound'. The original was made from a 1970s Kenwood whisk, as was this!

Thanks. Couldn't get the font, so cut them out of sticky backed plastic.

I have an extensive collection of Letraset; my oldest sheet is from the early '70s. I keep them in a cool place with, at least, 40% humidity.
I made the mistake, years ago to keep them in a lower humidity level and noticed that the letter were breaking apart
What's your mileage?

Interesting. Mine probably date from 70's or 80's but I shove them in a folder that is at the mercy of the extremes in my conservatory! I find that whilst they look fine, they do not transfer in one piece to their target surface and leave bits behind on the letraset sheet.

I sometimes wonder why the propmaker put ALPHA on the handle. Do personnel from the other Moonbases come over and try to steal equipment?

I wouldn't trust those people over on S.H.A.D.O. moonbase. They're probably always borrowing the lawnmower!
