I'd like to rock my Wolverine more but growing that crap out is a pain! Plus mine grows all funky AND I have a ton of other costumes.

Anyone halps?

You can find good quality stuff lots of places, the best way to go for really custom stuff is crepe hair. I got a few premade beard and stuff from mallatts.com a while back though. Unfortunately, I can't manage to get the spirit gum (and especially the remover) to work properly, which left one beard a complete mess and my face a bit red and burny for a couple days.

I'd offer you mine. I'm just about to shave it all off after about 3 1/2 months growth.
Not much good for Wolverine though, colourwise it's spot on young Obi-Wan.

That stuff at mallatts.com is what I'm seeing at the local costume places. There has to be something out there even higher quality. That's what I was hoping to find.

For something as large as a beard, I would use toupee tape. Cut pieces to fit, as necessary. I use it to hold on my Ringo sideburns. It holds up pretty well to sweat.

That stuff is really the most professional stuff you're going to find at that price. The next step up is probably much like the step up between costume wigs and real human hair wigs, so unless you want to pay $500 for a beard... But honestly, a lot of TV shows and the like just use the crepe hair. they can glue it on however they want, which allows them to make it look however they want.

Yes I second Telesis 5. Just be sure to remove it with a proper medical adhesive remover. Gave myself Joker scars for a week once :unsure

I was also going to say crepe hair. When I did my %$* in a box outfit for Halloween, I did that and spirit gum, worked wonderfully.
I had purchased a long twisted braid of it. Cut out small sections, applied spirit gum, tackied the spirit gum, then applied the hair.
Everyone swore that I grew that beard for realz. It was awesome. The second night it didn't want to stay on, but I think I was sweating more that night. But I also might not have had enough patience for it to get to proper tackiness before appling.
The Telesis 5 sounds very interesting though.
