Something i noticed about fallout 3.

I've been reading a Fallout 3 wiki and turns out Bethesda and Obsidian are using alot of the already created stuff from the Fallout 3: Van Burren game that was never made. The legion, entire characters, and scenarios have been picked up so I guess in one way or another Van Burren is still being made. I'm waiting to see if future fallouts use more of the van burren material as there is a ton of unused stuff still.

That's the way I took the entire Fallout NV game. Obsidian set out to make the game they intended to make with Van Buren. Hopefully in the future we will see more of the Enclave and find out what's up with the armor redesign (F3 vs. F1, F2, & F:NV).

They threw us fallout 1 and 2 fans a bone. On the table in the Van Graft store is a fallout 1 plasma rifle now called a plasma caster. the fallout wiki has a ton of explanations on differences such as why the vault doors now look different and such.

I just played the first two after the third game (I don't know why I never played them originally) and I just assumed it was due to material vendors or in separate parts of the country. They had to use a lot of sources to get the vaults finished fairly quickly.

Playing through NV again I keep thinking that the Boomers are what would happen if you put the Mythbusters in a vault. :lol

lol. True i was in the Boomer's old vault and i was like hillbillies and NRA in a vault lol. Actually according to the wiki they changed the vault doors due to problems with design flaws. As for the weapons alot of the guns in the first games are older models that were being replaced by the ones in Fallout 3. Also explains why the plasma weapons in the new games turn you into a puddle. The plasma weapons in the first game weren't strong enough to melt bone so you got the cool skeleton in midair gag. We probably should have moved this conversation to one of the tons of fallout 3/new vegas discussions on here lol
