Well this will get Ralphee off my back...I hope. :D Spent the last three days working on the model with a great friend Carl. He is one of those guys that is a natural problem solver.. Because my painting skills are lacking he has been guiding me in the painting of the model. In three days we have put in about 42hrs. :love love that. The model needed a lot of cleaning up and prepping for paint.I did arrive with it primed but that was about it, the first day and a half was spent prepping. The next day and a half was spent laying down the base coat, which was an off white. After fooling around with colors it just seemed to light, I looked at the book then at Carl and said "Do you have any Gull Grey"? We mixed some up and it looked perfect compared to the refrence in, From Star Wars To Indiana Jones.Next we began on the open circutry access panel, we shot it an orange mixed with a small amount of flat black. Then we laid down a wash and dry brushed over the detail. There is a ton left to do but it's out the gate now. Oh in case you were wondering I have the fade and carl has the long hair. :D

P.S. Ralphee Don't say I never painted anything for YA. :D

Dude, looking fantastic, well my nagging finally got to ya lol, bout damn time, this thing is gonna look amazing on display Micheal, its a wonderful build in every sense and all the time you spent on her is a testament to your talent as a builder, and a modest one at that, many folk seem to dissapear up there own asses on here from time to time, you keep it real for the masses of guys who cant do this stuff right off the bat. Cant wait to see this paint up done, i for one have waited a while in anticipation.
