Thank you Brad for putting this together. wish I would have got there in time to see more of your collection.
It was great meeting everybody, I had a lot of fun. Can't wait till next year.

The party was great! Thanks to Jedifyfe for putting this together.
Although I only stayed for a short time, it was great to see Randy, Mark Cheng (the boots!), Matt (Noble), Brad, and the Matt Munson.
While I was setting up my little display, Matt comes out of nowhere and says "This is the reason I drove down here!" and I saw him take a few pictures. thanks for the compliments Matt, great meeting you.
Awesome talking to Mark Cheng about whatever, always great to meet a Chinese prop collector.

I am ABSOLUTELY tempted to do a roll call and mention everyone by name and discuss what great things they brought with them and the greatness everyone contributed to making it such a great event.
But I am too terrified that I would leave someone out, or forget something. So I will not even try.
Though I will agree with everything that has been said so far about how spectacular the party was. Great to see everyone, and really great to see so much inspiring work on display. There were a few neato licensed pieces, but my biggest thrills come from seeing work that people have put a lot of time and talent into. And yes, the Third Watch badges are just as spectacular in person as they are in the thread. But yeah, some really great stuff on display there. It's parties like this that really get me re-inspired to get back to building stuff, knock out some projects, and get some stuff done.
And they also make me realize that there are some great folks on this board. Again, really great to meet the folks I haven't met before, and really great to see again the folks I have had the pleasure of knowing for a while.
I think a year is too long to wait for the next one. Can we have another one when I come back??

The_elis POTC map was sick and I can't wait to get the bell
Bowelrocks GB pack build is so sweet and thanks for the buiild tips
SG-RB's Nostromo jacket was really cool to see in person and well done
E-wan, glad you made it, even if you came late it was a pleasure meeting you.

I hate work......because it makes me miss events like this! Stupid company retreat!!!!
Count me in for the next event! If it is any consolation we could sked a Prop Party in LA County to make anther event arrive sooner!

I was talking to the guy who ran the movie car/movie costume float in the July 4th Lake Forest parade last year.
He was pretty floored by all of the cool wearable stuff that was on display on Saturday so anyone who feels like being a Ghostbuster/Jedi/Firefly Crew/Pirate/Die Hard McClane/Rocketeer/etc. in the float with all of the movie cars this year drop me a line and I'll get you in touch with him once he's sorted out the theme for this year.

Yep. Two years ago was the big Indiana Jones fight with cracking whips and such, last year was the cars and costumed heroes.

I had a great time as well but I had to bolt after the first 3 hrs.....Hope to do it again hopefully ina bigger room. It was getting a little crowded It was nice meeting everyone.

I live a block from there and curse all the parking on my street every year, but have never been.

Wow, I am sorry I missed this after all was said and done. WOuld have been great to meet a few more of the "locals."
The stuff in the pics looks great! Oh well, gives me more time to dig out some of my stuff to bring for next time.
