SNL skewers The Hobbit

I am like you. God that movie was tedious. When all three are done, somebody might be able to edit them into a good Hobbit movie though.

Thats a great idea :thumbsup! I should start learning to use video/editing software now, maybe by the time the last one comes out I'll be able to do it! :lol

If the other two are as long, you might be able to learn by the tIme the credits roll if you start tinkering as soon as the previews are over...

Lol.

I thought it was alright, but certainly nothing to shout home about and definitely way too long. That said I felt the same about the LOTR trilogy and popular opinion seems to be against me on that one.

Sadly wasn't able to see the clips though.

half of the movie was needless filler. bigdaddy editing software is among the easiest stuff to learn :D for basic stuff you just cut and push :D

IMHO SNL hasn't been funny for a VERY long time...

The show's done some hilarious stuff over the last few years, and Bill Hader and the recently-departed Kristin Wiig are two of the funniest not-ready-for-primetime players in SNL's history. Sadly, Wiig just left, and the show is noticeably poorer for it. She was hands down the best female cast member the show's ever had.

There's been funny moments, but overall it falls flat for me. To be fair, I never really thought it was particularly great. ;)

The show should be 60 minutes instead of 90, the band should play once instead twice, and they should halve the time devoted to the host's monologue.

:lol

All the LOTR films are long and boring, even rewatched them recently and still felt the same way.

The Hobbit, is not boring and didnt feel long at all.

SNL? are they still trying to be funny? who was the host for this eppisode? Lindsay lohan or Justin Bieber?

SNL was in a bit of a slump, but the past few seasons have been pretty good. Occasionally there is a bad episode, this one wasn't very funny.

I can't believe this show started when I was in high school! :eek

I probably haven't watched it since then, either...:sleep
