Snake Eyes movie costume progress

First off, I am still working on the watchmen costumes hopefull an update later this week

I'm doing the snake eyes suit as well as a million other things, it should have been done 2 months ago, but I keep f-ing up molds.
The knife is from CRKT, I have the trainer on the way since the real knife wouldn't fly in a costume, you can get it from here

I also have the sword, but couldn't fine the Fn5-7 anywhere that would ship to canada so im using a sig 226.
the plan was that this would be ready a few months ago with plenty of time for the premier...well...nothing ever goes to plan huh??lol
I'm going with the harness for the sword and knife only to show more of the armor off. Also may be doing the retractable tonfa he uses in the fight against strom shadow.

My store Carries an Airsoft FiveSeven but we can't ship it to Canada! Canada seriously needs disambiguate their laws concerning replica firearms vs air guns.

Thanks for the comments guys! For the visor i'm thinking either snaps or velcro to attach it, I'll play around once I make it . It would be nice if I could get a 5-7, but I really don't plan on even pulling it out so I'm sure I can get away with the sig lol.

Thanks guys, I only took a few pics of the cowl sculpt before I molded it. I am now reworking it in plaster, but I used waterclay to sculpt it. The chest was sculpted in oilclay but that is a fiberglass positive i'm working on now. This is the same chest as in my watchmen thread, you can see pics of the clay sculpt there. These extra steps would have been unnecessary had I got it right the first time.


Yes after all this trouble I will make more than one if anyone needs one:love

Very cool project... Just one thing.... Will you be straightening the nose bridge? It has to much of a curve (Ceasar look) For the mask i advice you to make the neck peice a tad thicker in diameter for easeir the head to innsert.

Ya the nose has been bought down a little in the upper part, but they acutal mask was sculpted with this look. His nose is not acutally in the nose section it is off his face somewhat And I have a test pulls of the mask and the neck size is fine to get it on. I'm always carefull with neck size when I'm sculpting mask, haven't made one I can't get on yet lol..
