Snake Eyes Armor Costume G.I. Joe: Retaliation update armor done!

Hi here are a few tutorial photos of how attache the a Snake armor and paint.
First you can use velcro, chicago screw, rivets and belt with clip or small buckles. Basically i used all of them. Depend $$ and time. After that i apply puttty where is need it, specially for those drill hole for the screw.
Then small sanding (220 sand paper) and primer.
If you see very close the photos of the real Snake Eyes armor and helmet (Real photos of the real Snake eyes check gallery and other RPF thread) it is not smooth, it has a rough stone texture on the armor that is why you dont need to sanding alot.
For making that effect i used RUST OLEUM AMERICAN ACCENTS STONE.
Appy a good coat evently, let the armor dry for 24 hours in a cool dry place.
Then paint them black (i prefer matte or satin). I hope this info help you for those asking me.

Great work.

I'm thinking of doing a very similar work this year. I was debating building my own vacuum table to do the visor work. I was thinking of doing the shoulder pads the same way.

I'd like good visibility with the visor without sacrificing the look. I assume the clear visor with tinting method would turn out similar to wearing a pair of sunglasses as far as visibility goes.

Snake Eyes at a con tripping and falling over because he can't see may break the illusion I'm going for ;)

this looks amazing! Cool costume Maulfett.
Thanks

Maulfett - Amazing work on this authentic replica costume for Snake Eyes! I can't believe how exact the details are when looking at both versions. I am very impressed by both you and your friends work on this costume. Still amazed!!!!! Brought my childhood hero to life outside the film ;)

Question: Any idea where I could get one of these made? I've been doing heavy research looking for a distributer.
