I know that I'm not getting my hopes up for this Movie it has been a big let down for me from the first pics I've seen and don't care how bad it is I'm still going to like the character regardless if they @#*$ it all up! I don't like the Visor or the Mask in the movie and if they make him have lips I'm going to cry... But then look at how they've @#*$'ed up Dragon Ball...
This is my version of Snake Eye's and it looks better then the movie's version...

At the end of the day Snake Eyes is dressed head to toe in black, he is a ninja, hence he will probably spend most of his time kicking ass in the shadows, no one in the regular audience will probably even notice his 'mouth' :lol Personally I am more worried about what they've done to Cobra Commander.........

My biggest hope for this movie is that it gets people to look into GI Joe costumes and they come to the gi joe costuming site.

First bit I've seen from it. Thanks. The biggest problem with the trailer is that the entire thing needed to be Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow fighting. In fact, that's what the entire movie needs to be.
Well...I just got back from Wondercon In San Francisco. I had a long and very nice conversation with Ray and got some pretty cool info. I HAD to bring up the mouth part of the mask. Apperantly, he has agrued the mouth detail on the costume to the designer. He wanted it covered just like the Snake-eyes we've all known. Ultimately, he was shot down for the reason of unable to breathe and........"balance"! He explained to me that the visor was "weighing" down the front part of the mask, lack of latex in the front would add more strength to the back of the mask to keep the visor up. The visor itself was hard to see through and the neck of the mask made it hard to move. He literally had to rely on the precision of remembering the choreography in order to pull off the fight scenes.
Gotta say..He's one helluva nice guy! Very down to earth and appreciates his fans.
