I'm fairly suresomeone made a sleestak head from the cheesy '70's kids show "Land of the Lost".
Can anybody point me in the right direction as to availability.
Sorry if this belongs in the junkyard. Thanksfor any help.

Here's another good source for Sleestak masks (and he also makes Sleestak hands & feet)...

Thanks for that link, but I don't really like that one, looks like there's a huge, visible seam seperating the front of the mask from the back.
I'd be interested in seeing Sgt. Fangs, I PM'd him, but got no reply as of yet.

Sorry, guys, I got sidetracked yesterday, and forgot to reply to everything. :$

It looks like Phil's website got wiped out by AOL's recent fat trimming, along with his pics.

Here's a pic of our sleestak I found on google though-

Phil still has the mold as far as I know and can be reached at allartistries@aol.com

Good Luck!

Now that's what I'm talkin' about, Sarge! The sculpt and paint are just so much better! I sent an e-mail to Phil, I hope he replies.
Thanks,
Scott

Sarge, thanks for your help. I got a hold of Phil and ordered one up.

No prob bud! Glad to help out!

Good Gawd! On those original suit pics, it looks like the scales were all cut out of latex sheeting and applied one at a time!!! :eek

I'm currently sculpting my own SLEESTAK head/bust from the 1970s version. Here are a couple of pics... just foam at this time before I start to add the clay.

Cool - I would really like to see how that turns out.

I like the original version better.

Any thoughts on doing the entire costume.

Thanks, I'll post updates. I grew up with the original version as well... my favorite. I have thought about the entire costume. However, too many projects & not enough time. This will be a display piece. I did a 1/4th sculpture in the early 90's, not very accurate, but a fun sculpt.
